Service- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft Pirna mbH (SBP) was founded in 2004. SBP is a financial holding company without business divisions or personnel. The company represents the city in all financial relations. SBP is responsible for monitoring the associated companies' business activities and for coordinating projects to improve business performance and create synergies. The associated companies remain independent companies, which, in economic terms, can flexibly operate in the market.
The district capitol Pirna is the sole shareholder of Service- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft Pirna mbH. SBP holds a 90% share in Stadtwerke Pirna GmbH (SWP), a share of 94,9% in both, Stadtentwicklungsgesellschaft Pirna mbH (SEP) and Städtische Wohnungsgesellschaft Pirna mbH (WGP), as well as a 100% share in Kultur- und Tourismusgesellschaft Pirna mbH (KTP)..
